Bought my 360 cheap as a way of teaching myself a bit about DIY car maintenence. Thought I'd have a go at changing my front pads and discs, this is where my problems started
Caliper was easy to remove but couldn't get the caliper mounting bolts undone. Getting a bit cold outside now so I thought i'll just stick the caliper back on and try again next weekend when i've got a bit more time on my hands.
But I can't get the caliper back on the piston seems to have come out (as though the brakes have been applied) and not returned. How do I go about getting it all back together?
And yes I know it's a nooby question and yes I feel like a tool as I no longer have a working car

Re: 360 Front brake caliper. Removal and refitting
With most cars you can get a big pair of swan neck grips and use them to push the piston back in, just be careful not to damage the piston, put a bit of rag on it first before putting the grips on, should get you out of trouble without having to go out and buy the proper tool

A G-Clamp also works well. Make sure that you push the cylinder in the centre though otherwise it will be pushed in at an angle, will seize and then you'll be f*cked
I use a set of welding clamps to do it.

The calliper bracket bolts are pretty tough, the are tightened to 80ftlbs with a fairly fine thread. You need a 6 sided 1/2" drive socket and a long bar, say about 2ft, to crack them off.
You need to remove the whole disk/bearing assembly to get the disks off, they are a friction fit on the hub, there is another thread on this.
