front brake's 1.7 audi upgrade?

Post by azza_126 » 17 May 2011 12:03 am

i know the front caliper's (well the pads) are the same as audi 80 ones can you use audi 80 vented disc's and calipers as an upgrade? has any one does this can it be done please help me as im looking for a cheap brake upgrade ie vented disc's instead of solid ones ( for some reason i just dont like solid disc's iv over heated some in the past on another car and since then iv always upgraded my cars (not volvo's actually small engined vauxhalls with naff brakes) to atleast vented disc's to get some air in there to cool them down so can any one help me find a cheap and cheerfull upgrade

Capri 2.8 vents and a bit of modding your existing caliper and carriers is the cheapest and easiest option in my opinion.Tried and tested.Do a search for some pics and a how to.
