When I drive over a hump or mound in the road it tends to dictate the direction of the car,
EG when the front suspension is clearing the mound on one side the car will drive away from the mound,
put simply, when the two left wheels clear half a speedbump and the right wheels are on flat ground the car will pull quite hard to the right - opposite of what I expect - any idea why it would do this.. my other 300 on the same road went pretty much straight with no pulling.

I'd guess knackered front end bushes, jack the front up and look at those on the wishbone and control arm. Do your wheels look spot on central in the arch when parked? That's a good giveaway.

Re: Steering behaving strangely.
Ok, I'll have a good look later.
I could have checked all this out but best to have a bit of a pointer first , coz I'm lazy.
