possible silly question..lowering blocks

possible silly question..lowering blocks

ok if i wanna low the rear of the car what size should my lowering block be? 3 inches?

reason i ask is i brought a 3 inch lowering block but its not as big as id imagined

Yes, a 3" block will lower the car by 3"

It depends how much lower you want it, also think about what wheels your gonna have. I'm on 2" blocks with 15x8 wheels and its rubbing, 3" blocks and I wouldn't get the car off the drive :lol:
2" is plenty imo unless you want the 'slammed' look :)

What lowering blocks are used? Do mk2 escort blocks and U-bolts fit?

Blocks yes. If you grind the nipple off the top face. Ubolts no. Straight hi tensile are what you needs.
