wheel stud dimensions

Post by sammysideways » 06 Oct 2011 01:33 pm

Anyone know what length and thread pitch the standard wheel studs are? Also is there a cheap upgrade to getting longer studs? i want to run a 30mm bolt on wheel spacer upfront and i dont think the standard studs are long enough.

I *think* scooby ones fit. Pretty sure they're М12х1.25

Scooby studs require the Volvo hubs drilling out to 14mm iirc. I have some here, but like many things on this car, I haven't got to that stage yet.

No-one has reported a direct swap as of yet.

You might want to look at Ford Escort MK2 when they went metric.

Think you may be surprised.

Obviously, getting extended studs will then be pi$$ easy.
