BRAKE SHOES FOR A 1.4?

Post by Justin » 16 Jan 2012 05:59 pm

I need to replace my rear brake shoes and the guy at Kevin Coopers motor factors told me there are two types? Which ones will I need for a 1988 Volvo 340 1.4? Whats the model number?...
1988 340 1.4 DL

(I suffer with O.C.D. which makes me obsessed with fine detail)

(Diagrams or photos are far more helpful to me when it comes to cars)

I would think there is only one type for a 1.4.

On the 300 series, there are two types as there are models with 8" rear drums and 9".

"340" with 8" drums 3342329 (3287600) 203mm x 38mm
"360" with 9" drums 3342305 (3277830) 228mm x 42mm

EBC catalogue I have here shows 340, 1.4, 1.6, 1.7 1976-1992 - 5216V
