Search harder, and/or provide better information. What car are you talking about?

360, got an 84 model now, and the bearings we get on work are for 85 and up, ordered one and it will get here by tomorrow, so will find out then
the bearing on my car is fucked, so i took the chance, since it doesnt cost me much

It all depends on the chassisnumber:
per side
340 up to FC120999 is 2x 3105765
360 up to FC120999 is 1x 3294713
340 & 360 after GC121000 is 1x 3411886

I know some used to sell a uni set for 340 and 360 up to FC120999.

my chassisnumber is XLB343213EC848901

it does not say on the bearing ive ordered what chassisnumber it goes to, just that it goes to 85 modells and up

Theoretically then you have the early type, which is a multi-piece. Sounds like you have bought the later single piece sealed job.

Not sure about the earlier one, but the later one is a one way job, once you start you have to replace, the old part is destroyed in the disassembly.

This thread has alot of info;
http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... +rear+ride

This thread says something similar about the chassis no, but doesn't include the letters, do they count?

Does you car have the large lump on wheel flange? If so I think it is the later bearing. If it is the later one I can guide you to change it, I even have spare circlips.

i will mesure the bearing on the old one, found 2 different when i searched for wheel bearings on my other 360 registration number, and both says outer and inner diameter of the bearings
what i also found out is that the 86-87 uses a different bearing than what i ordered, so i hope i got the right one

Yes the Haynes info says 86-on is all single piece seal type, but I wasn't sure about the accuracy of that as one of my cars contradicted it, but it may have had a new axle before I got it.

Did you look at your hub? The later type have wheel centring lump about 1cm long the earlier ones only 2mm or so.
