i own a 340 but have access to a scrap 360 (its buried under cars and scrap hence not just having a look)

cheers guys!

are 360 struts the same as 1.7 340 struts?
Re: are 360 struts the same as 1.7 340 struts?
Probably not exactly. There are even differences between 360 saloons and hatchbacks for various geometries, they are different part numbers anyway. The main obvious difference is the ARB mounting, but I have had 340 struts on a 360 and it did not feel good atall. It even had a 340 exhaust on it lol, poor thing was choking.
If you are doing coil-overs you probably want to get some additional adjustments for castor, camber, canter, banter and slander

Re: are 360 struts the same as 1.7 340 struts?
damn, was hoping it would have just been the damping and spring rate that would be different, which obviously wouldnt have mattered, and yeah probably use s13 top mounts as that seems to be the best choice?
