Re: Passenger side rear squeak
Any special tools needed for bearing removal? Finding the link is hard enough
Re: Passenger side rear squeak
Glad you pointed out those manuals. I didn't know they were there - only been on this forum for 8 years.... seem to remember last time I looked (which might have been a few years ago ) it was still a work in progress.
1988 340 1.4 GL, 218k, 5 door (Grey Bess). Gone to CBA.
1991 340 1.7 GL, 64k, 5 door, petrol blue (Deep Blue).
1988 360 2.0 GLE, 140k, 5 door, ocean blue metallic (Blue Bess).
1989 340 1.7 GL, 108k, 3 door (Red Ness).
More info here!

I can promise to you that finding link is not hard at all compared to job, rear bearing replacement is one of the jobs that I don't wish to do ever, stuck parts annoy me :pkelvingenders wrote:Any special tools needed for bearing removal? Finding the link is hard enough
At top right there is search box, I did put rear wheel bearing into it and it gave me this and many other ones

edit: WHEEL WAS LOOSE?? Check the feckin' obvious first.
It's in one of the PDF docs....I'll give you a clue, it's not in the electrical one.
In the meantime, it'd do you no harm to search the site. Now I know the top right box sometime comes up with a lot to sift through.

Now alternatively, you can use Google. Go to say http://www.google.com and do a site search, e.g. enter what is written below into the search box.
That will look for the words "rear", "wheel" and "bearing" on only this site: "www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/"
