Will these wheels fit?

Post by Dean » 30 Nov 2012 04:28 pm

Hey just bought some wheels a friend of mine said would fit, but I want to make sure before I go pay for them!

I have a 340 by the way I know they take 4x100 wheels by dont really understand these specs

Fronts: PCD = 3 3/4 Centre Bore = 56mm Offset = 110mm Approx
Rears: PCD = 3 3/4 Centre Bore = 63mm Offset = 105mm Approx

EBay ID: 350653435742

I really should of posted this before bidding, only had 10 mins left when I foud them.

Edt: guessing the pcd is in inches it worked out 95.25 mm pcd which means they don't fit?

Nah, they don't

3 3/4" PCD is a BL throwback as found on Dolomites, some Metros and MGFs.

Am I right in thinking 4x100 is 4x4?

No, you're not. 4" is 101.6mm. Wobble nuts are engineering bodgeness from hell. sm2

Perhaps, but it allows you to fit cool wheels without redrilling

Also isn't 1.6mm technically within tolerance?

NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN. AT least I think not. It's enough to put the centre out of wack with the hub. The taper on the nuts help centre the wheel so if they're all out then the wheel wont be rotating around the centre point of the hub, meaning they wont balance fo shiznit!

No, I think they have offset tapers but you should be using spigot rings anyway. I wouldn't personally run them but I'd like to see you try and tell Bruce that wobble bolts are rubbish
