Getting there!, just welding and rear brake adjuster needs unjamming after this job.....
I have removed the rear brake pipe, I agree with the MOT man, it is unsafe... now, it being legitimately duff, instead of sanding it down, and applying filler+paint, do a real nice job on it lol..... I'm going one better and getting one made.
I've measured the length at 3m 17cm, I need to know what gauge pipe it is and what type and size of connectors so I can order it to be made up without a. driving with no brakes, tax or mot- or b. cycling in snow.
cheers.
edit: on rolling up the pipe into coil this happened-

Brake pipe is just brake pipe. Can't even remember what size.
Fittings M10 x 1mm? That's my best guess.
Anyone got this written down?

yup it's M10x1 and the line is 4,75mm, just get a small roll of Cunifer brake line and make em yourself, it's not hard to do and you can do most bends by hand and for the difficult/tight bits you obviously use a bender tool. you can reuse the old fittings if nobody f*cked them up tightening/untightening

Its not a 'just do this' job. You need some tools and materials, its not hard but does take a little skill.
Get a kit that includes pipe and tools, and some common ends.
You need 3/16" (4.76mm) pipe with M10x6mm ends. You need a tool that does 3/16" pipe (ie forms the ends).
Make sure the kit includes a pipe cutter, hacksaw does not give a good edge.
