Hi all,
Bought a set of minilights for the 340, however, the studs are a bit too short
does anyone know the thread details and length of the original ones so i can find somw a bit longer?
I know asking is a bit lazy, but i really dont wanna head outside in the pouring rain to whip a wheel off
cheers guys

A
bit lazy? Gertcha arse out there!
It is lazy, because although the info is still in the "to sort" pile and not accessible, there is a cached copy on Google

so no need for any bellyaching about a bit of water from the sky.
Adam "340GLT" said back in Feb 2011:
Hi mate standard overall stud length is 43.5mm. You won't find a direct replacment in a longer length. Get from grayston 12x1.25 thread diameter with the 14.3mm spline diameter. Drill hub to 14mm and use a machined tube and nut to pull them through.

Subaru Impreza studs are widely available on ebay, and fit if you drill the holes to 14mm

I'd rather not drill the holes. Does anyone know the diameter of the original wheel studs? I have found a supplier for 12,8 and 13,0 (and 14,2 and 14,3).

I was sceptical at first about drilling, but when you put the hub under a pillar drill it goes right through and getting the new ones in is easy. Just take some time and pull them in slowely which some cutting oil and and old wheel nut.
