Lowered suspension tracking advice please?

Post by Number 47 » 02 Mar 2014 11:17 am

I am lowering the car with Dai's 50mm blocks and springs. I will have adjustable dampers front and coilover adjustables rear. I'm just wondering how to go about tracking this? I have fitted new tie rods and track rod ends to the steering rack so the tracking will be well out, (had to cut the old ends off so couldn't count turns, just measured length roughly) I will be fitting 4 new tyres before tracking.
I'm not knowledgeable about tracking. I'm assuming the values in Haynes will give me camber issues? Can anyone advise please?
Many thanks.

Unless you absolutely want to do it yourself I would take it to a tire shop, and have them align it.

Tracking is set as per normal and lowering does not effect this at all.

Caster and camber angles are not adjustable but with checking just in case anything is out.
