In short, they will probably fit.
In long, the spring rate is probably different.

Re: leaf springs
that was to be my follow on question. how do the spring rates differ?
seeing as Dai stocks one set of bushes for all the 300 series im guessing they all mount up in the same manner
there was a post from one of the volvo gurus on here with lots of model related spring rate info, but i cant seem to find it when i want it

Re: leaf springs
They are just going to be softer and higher, I don't know the figures, but the rear weight will be similar.
I have some spare 360 GLE springs if it helps, but heavy to transport to the mainland.
I would provide them free delivered if I can have your GLT halfshafts, but I guess you need them.

Re: leaf springs
i wont be going very far without my halfshafts so ill have to pass on that ... do you want some vario halfshafts instead?
Tbh i want to fit the softest springs i can, so fine tuning will be easier with coilovers. if it jacks the arse up a bit more ill just need larger blocks to bring it back down so thats no worry. I ask because i have a pair off a vario sat around, ideal for refurb, it just seemed a good idea to get confirmation that theyll fit before they get treated to new (poly)bushes and a fresh coat

Re: leaf springs
Yes the will fit,
When new they would be a little softer and sit about 20mm higher. By now its pot luck as to how soft the springs have gone and what ride height you get. If going with lowering blocks and coilovers they will work fine

Re: leaf springs
thanks for clarification Dai. the vario seemed to sit level so if they sagged theyve gone evenly
do any of the volvo geniuses have any spring rate info to share?
