Front coilovers and 6 link rear

Post by Nuttyjimbob » 08 Jan 2015 11:41 pm

Hello everyone,
Following from my first post, I've been planning and saving for some time now and got some ideas to share and see what people think.

As for the front ive been looking into width and lenght of the volvo suspension. I believe you can get bmw e46 front coilovers to fit with some modifications. They can be purchased at a small price starting from around £120. I have tried to research more about converting over coilovers to fit, but haven't found much as to how it was done. Now I know classicswede sell them and they seem pretty good from the reviews. but bmw ones offer a wider range and if moded they seem promising to me.

On to the rear. I've looked asked about and found that people use escort 4 link and parnard rod. I'm looking at going for a watts linkege instead. I've found some company's that will make the rods with rose joints for a good price and quality parts too. I'm going make or use a pt cruiser watts linkege and use escort towers same with the link rods.

What are peoples views on this? All suggestions welcome :D lol i know people will think whats the point. but I'm going to have around 280hp so I want something that's going to handle as well as it goes.
Cheers
