Hi all,
I am tirelessly looking for new coil springs replacement for my Volvo (5-door 1.6D 54HP 1986), but it is extremely difficult to obtain springs designated as suitable for my car. I would like to learn if there are any cars which are still continued in terms of spare parts and whose coil springs would match these of my Volvo. The parameters I have found in some V3M pdf are:
- free length: 367mm
no. of coils: 6.5
wire diameter: 11.0mm
coil diameter: 116mm
I have found replacement coil springs to have a parameter of
AA (whatever it means, I dunno).
Does anybody of you have any ideas?

I would have thought standard petrol 340 springs would do or 360 springs. I would wait for someone with more knowledge on the subject to add their two pence first though.

what are the for? It says D16, B19 343 and 345 all of which did not have the exact same springs.
I have new production GLT springs that would be a reasonable option to use

I appreciate the efforts of all of you, but, like classicswede said, there are differences between models.. I know that mine needs at least one pigtail-type end of coil spring.

I'm not aware of any model ever having a pig tail end, are you sure?

Thank you for making me reconsider it... I had mistakenly convinced myself somehow that there was a pigtail end, when in fact there was not any.
What parameters are the GLT springs you had mentioned? Would it be a problem for you to send it to Poland?
Here is one of the PDFs that I have found during my research:

Indeed, the coil spring has got `plain` circular ends. The thing is, I come from Poland and while the springs' price may be bearable, I don't entertain the idea of paying as much for shipping. I will contact that Swedish shop for their price.

these are the spring details I have
Whilst the GLT spring is shorter it is stiffer so only rides a little lower. It would be a good upgrade to slightly firm up the very undersprung front end
Shipping to Poland would be £23

I have bought the springs from classicswede. The mechanic was hesitant to mount them, but noticed they were thicker, and the end result is satisfying.
However, the car is a bit lowered and I need to be careful with road bumps I did not use to care about when I had had the very original springs.
All in all, the springs for B200K can also be used in a Diesel variant.
