I think that dai is working for it.

Guess it is better that I don't even know what 'bodges' means

I wouldn't call anything of Dai's bodging, more ingenuity and resourceful engineering.

I'm not sure though whether it's something Dai is adapting, or whether Spax are producing them as a direct fitment for a 300 standard one, but obviously uprated and adjustable.

As everyone will know the rears have been available for some time from me now.

As to the front end of thinks there are two paths that I am looking at going down - both perfectly good engineering solutions.

1) is a adjustable insert to fit the original strut case. - this is going to be quite expensive tbh but worth it (I'm 99% I will splash out of my own pocket to get these made

2) is to make a kit to allow a second damper to be fitted in combination of the original. This will be cheaper and could be used with a spax insert for even more dampening.

Its just a case of a bit of time and bear in mind i dont need this myself so I'm only doing it for you guys.

I'm confident option 1 would sell well.

Yes i agree. And it is nice to have more options when choosing shock absorbers.

Cheers

I'd go with option one for sure, I am a newbie to Volvos so would anyone be able to provide an image of the front shock setup on these??

Try ringing Dai, I think he still does them. Don't expect them in a hurry though.
