They are about the right size so will fit in the cup.As they are towing springs they could be stiff enough. If you are going to do that keep them quite long to start with and then chop back once you know what height the car is sitting at.

Ive had 240 rear lowering springs(stiff springs)
and they was not stiff enough, resulting in bad cornering, hitting the bump stops a lot, but much improved over just cut stock springs

i have cut rear wagon springs in the front of mine and they are very stiff, i cut them down so they were still just captive with the front jacked up and its about the same height as factory

With a std shock they are not captive and need to be clamped in. If a shortened shock was used then that would not be a problem

You would have to go in combination with shortened shocks.

You could pull your apart and get the ends machined down.

To get stiff enough springs and lower something you will not be able to use std length shocks without clamping

Not much to choose from? Just about every state capital has a spring manufacture company that can re engineer any shock to be stiffer and lower, mine cost $260 for a brand new 30% stiffer, 3 inch lower set of heat treated powdercoated springs. If you want cheap, look for MR2 springs, I hear they fit.

Car will look like this:

rears like this:
