They are about the right size so will fit in the cup.As they are towing springs they could be stiff enough. If you are going to do that keep them quite long to start with and then chop back once you know what height the car is sitting at.

With a std shock they are not captive and need to be clamped in. If a shortened shock was used then that would not be a problem

You would have to go in combination with shortened shocks.
You could pull your apart and get the ends machined down.
To get stiff enough springs and lower something you will not be able to use std length shocks without clamping

Not much to choose from? Just about every state capital has a spring manufacture company that can re engineer any shock to be stiffer and lower, mine cost $260 for a brand new 30% stiffer, 3 inch lower set of heat treated powdercoated springs. If you want cheap, look for MR2 springs, I hear they fit.blackbox wrote:i didnt get them so will think of some thing else just here in oz there not much to chose from
