Differencies at the front wheel wells between MK1 and newer

Post by Fuse » 03 Mar 2009 12:42 am

Are there any big structural differencies or differencies in the basic shape at the front wheel wells/inner fenders between the older 300-series and the -82 and newer models?

I'm asking because I'm about to buy aluminium interior mudguards made by Lokari for the front wheel wells, and they don't have the 82+ yearmodel mudguard available anymore for 300-series, only for yearmodels from -76 to -81

I would guess there are no big differencies and the older model mudguard would fit, if not straight away, with some small work?

I would have als thought that there should only be little difference if any. Perhaps one our mk1 owners could help with an answer?

Basic shape seems to be quite the same as in newer models. :P

Yeah. That yearmodel +82 is a mistake at that german site. I contacted Lokari Finland and only "76-81" is available but I think it should fit to later models also.
