Hi mate.
Heres how i got mine done.
Car up on ramp [head height].
One bloke with a hub puller on one side.
Another bloke underneath the car with a sledge hammer
A good half hour beating the shit out of the back of the hub.
Eventually it came loose.
Cheers Mark.

i made a disk as wide as the halfshaft,i pus 3 holes in it:2 in wich 2 put the screws from the halfshaft and one bigger in the middle.i welded a bigger n ut on the hole and used a crew that fitted the nut to pull the part that needs to be taken out. I tried the hammer and it didn't work.

I now have this delightful job to do - is it really this difficult?

Also, anyone got a part number for a 1984 rear wheel bearing?

Cheers

always use plenty of heat on rear wheel bearings

propane torch preferably, will loosen the Loctite thats on the splines.
afterwards, changing the bearing is also much easier when things are at temperature.

Heat isnt needed, if you use a volvo puller, they will come off fine. Especially if you use an air wrench.
