Ahem.
I might be interested in a set of yellow Konis (both front and back) matched to the "stiffness" of stock 360GLT springs. It's really not because I need any extra stiffness, but the shocks currently installed are shite and I need to replace them anyway. So why not go "all the way".
Well, there are problems, of course. Being in Finland, there's not much use of a UK group buy. So should I just order them on my own...?
New yellow and red Koni shocks for the V300! Group Buy?

Then Dai's shocks sound like a better plan for the UK. Maybe you can find some cheaper Koni's vor the VW Golf MK1 and Alpha Guilia on Ebay.
Nomead, I'd suggest the red Koni's... The yellow Koni's are quite stiff, even in the softest setting.
If you can get the shocks in Finland cheap you'd be better off buying them there.
