Due to moving my radiator during my 16valve conversion the old bonnet hinges will no longer work, I was going to go ahead and make a 'normal' opening bonnet by hinging it at the bulkhead with some sort of step up hinges.
But before I do, has anyone done this before?
Cheers, Jay.

Interested in this aswell! Have looked at some bonnet hinges but never found one that would do the job without to much modifing.

why have you moved your radiator? A 340 rad is wafer thin and theres nothing about an f7 conversion that would suggest it needs moving from its original location
also ive just fitted a (cheap and temporary) 340 rad to me 360glt and i bet i can get an intercooler between it and the hInge assy without issue
I am contemplating changing the hinges and 986 boxster/996 911 bonnet hInges are probably the first units ill look at making work
