So I picked up a set of 10" subs this week for a rockin' $55. They are not the best in the world, but the unported box really dont do the juctice.
The plan is to whip up some new boxes and have them go under the front seats. We have got tons of room under there, I was just wondering if anybody has the same idea and how did it go for you?

Re: Under seat subs
space under the seats is waaaay too small for a decent 10" subbox

Re: Under seat subs
Lucky they're not decent subs. I understand the they will preform better if I were to throw them into a W-Bin styled box at the corect volume but im not sacrificing my whole boot.
I mean its not like I listen to rap or techno, all I need them to do is emphisize the kick that is being eaten up buy the exhaust and road noise. You woulda thought 300watt splits in the doors would have been enough, but its a noisey beast.

Yeah I did that to my Skyline, its good. But for the time and effort involved I'm not doing it again.
This time ill fix the problem with rock'n'roll noise cancellation.
