Heater fans - again!

Hi All,
Well I took out the heater fan(which really has given up the ghost this time) and had a look at all the connections - I cleaned them off(actually they did'nt look that bad) and then had a look at the motor. The Motor was really really stiff. I put some WD 40 on it loosened it up a bit and put it back in. The tried it -it worked for about 30 seconds and then decided to bellow out lots of smoke - Doh..... I think its now properly siezed! Anyway, has anyone any suggestions where I could get a newer working unit. I'm in Ireland and older 340's( mine's a 1984 one!) are a bit thin on the ground over here these days. Have any Irish people out there got any spare ones lying around?
Cheers,
Paul.

We don't have very many Irish members. Sorry about that, shall I go recruiting? :P

I even found you an X1/9 in my local scrap yard...c'mon, I'm good :D

I'm sure someone will post you a motor if you can't find one.

cheers

James

No Worries - I'm just stirring things up a bit. Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, the motors seem to be impossible to come by.

If you can wait a few weeks, I'm bound to find you one...it's just whether another source would be easier (and cheaper on shipping).

cheers
