Ok, I've messed something up.
Sidelights (front sidelights) come on when I press the brakes.
If I turn headlights onto 1 or 2 there's no problem, headlights only flash with brakelights when headlight switch is set to zero.
Rear clusters haven't been touched, and I haven't welded through the loom at any point.
any Ideas, It's driving me nuts.
What have I done????
Re: What have I done????
That'll be a bad earth somewhere.. they do freaky weird things like thet.
Best to check any wires that terminate on the bodywork for signs of rust or oxidising

Re: What have I done????
Yup, what TJ said. It'll most likely be an earth problem, usually with the rear lights, but yours is different.

Rev engine to 7K
Exit street sideways

Re: What have I done????
its really annoying me, I smoked a J' - sat and thought for a good hour.. still stumped.
I reckon I've fried an earth with the welding.
unfortunately, pressing brakes, looking at the headlights and messing with earths is a three man job.
