12" mini lights

Post by Bobalob » 21 Aug 2011 01:12 pm

Has anyone got these to fit? I thought they fit with no trouble but im contacting the calipers on the front :O (340) just about jams on, going to try a small 3mm spacer which might just do it but i assumed they were straight fit? must be the 13's im thinking of?

Thanks for any info

yeah, 13s fit fine, but 12s youll need a huuge spacer to clear the calipers. or a very low offset. 12s are too small imo, youll find every pot hole in the world with them. i do ok with 13s on with 70 prfile tyres, but still find pot holes that a larger wheel wouldnt.

As you can see, I never tried them on the front. Whether they clear the calipers or not is a non-issue imo. They're too small for the car. 13's are right on limit.

I tried my mates Mini's on as I think I'd been twatted owa the head, as I was considering buying some 12" Superlites at the time.

and cos it was in the same album, have a couple where me wheel fell off.

IIRC the mk2 360 has the largest rear drums anyway mate. I know for a fact it has a flat face though, so nowhere for spigot rings!

Aye! The name of the person responsible shall die with me, all I will say is it wasn't me!

Realised what the clunking sound was, and was nearly at my mates so I attempted to limp there. You can almost see his house in the pic.

We should have a

That'd qualify.

had the 12's on now a lil while they are fine.

skids even better, really well for an open diff tbh.

had some odd coloured 440 alloys a while they'll go on eventually but no issues atm! :340:
