Hi
My 1985 vario has an electric cooling fan fitted to the rear of the radiator, as was standard from 1984. I know that it is controlled by a thermal switch depending on the temperature of the coolant. My fan seems to come on on pretty much every journey, which I don't feel is normal. I don't think there are any problems with the coolant and oil, so there shouldn't be any actual overheating (and the temp gauge stays in the middle). Does anyone know what the actual behaviour of this fan should be?
Many thanks,
Siôn
