Removing ns wing

Post by hillmanjames » 02 Oct 2011 09:22 pm

Hi everyone!

My first post on here after buying ben's (volvosneverdie) 1.4 340 :)

The car came with a fresh front wing as the one on there was dented, but i think im missing something when trying to take it off haha.
When ive tried to get it off i cant get to the middle bolt on the A pillar as its hidden by the door :(
Is ist just a cas of removing the bit that stops the door being opened too far and getting to it that way or it a door off jobby? and how easy it that to do?

Thanks for any advice :)

James

Hello, you can do it without removing the door. It helps to undo the door restraint as you mentioned, but after that the key things you need are thin wobble-bars for your socket set. That will sort it. Bests, bogbasic.

Yup, 1/4" wobble bars are what you need!
