Electrical gremlins Foglamps and Headlamps

Post by kelvingenders » 29 Apr 2012 09:20 am

My fog lamp are now staying on all the time. The only way to switch them off is to switch my actual headlamps on. Strange, but mostly annoying because headlamps are banned from being used in Queensland Australia unless it is foggy....which happens once every three years. I suppose I could disconnect them them. Anyone experience this issue? or fixed this issue.....p.s. I don't have park lights in ( the ones that are supposed to stay on all the time if you were living in Sweden)

Sounds like an earth fault to me, check the circuit back to the relay, look into the earth there.
