FUSE FOR REVERSE LIGHTS?

Post by Justin » 07 Jun 2012 03:07 pm

My reverse lights and rear wiper stopped working yesterday so I checked the fuse box. According to someone on here the fuse for this is an 8-amp and sits in number-10 slot under the clear plastic cover which has numbers 1-20 on it. Whats strange is that the fuse I removed said 16-amp on it? I replaced the number-10 slot fuse with an 8-amp and my reverse lights and rear wiper are now working fine...

Can someone please clarify what sized ampage of fuse is supposed to go in number-10 slot, or even better give me a map of each fuse and what it does on a 1988 Volvo340DL?...

Interesting, your map says number-10 slot is an 8-amp fuse, it doesnt mention the rear wiper though which is definately the same fuse slot?... I guess someone must have originally put a 16-amp fuse in mine by mistake...
