Hi guys, have had to fit a new dash cluster ...the one with the economy gauge and the exterior temp gauge. are this hard to get working. I'm not interested in the Econ gauge, mnore of the exterior temp. Do anyone have the fittings guides or know of what leads are need this to make it work?

I have a VDO sender for the temp gauge. However they were the same on the 400 series cars
so might be cheaper getting one in a scrapyard.

Its probably just a thermister. A bit of measurement should indicate the type, then we can specify a standard replacement. If I can find mine I will try and test it out.

Boys.....just realised I do not need one in Australia...because it's hot. thanks for all the advice. Didn't fancy the re-wiring and messing with parts of the speedo cluster. Looks complicated in green/blue book

It's nice to know how damn hot it is though. Don't think the wiring is all that bad.
