Speedo stopped working..read

Post by Benfraser » 22 Jul 2012 10:27 pm

Ok so after i fitted my suspension i noticed that my speedo was not working. I have have a quick look in the hub and in the back of the clocks and they both seem like they are in properly. Need to have a better look at the hub end. However since putting the damper new damper in, and taking the old one out, means that you have to lower down the actual hub down on the lower arm maybe it pulled and stressed the cable? I did notice a couple of times that the cable was being pulled down a bit while we were putting in the damper. All i can think of is that it has pulled it a little to much since it was working fine before we put the suspension on. :/

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
Ben......

Look in the centre of the front left wheel, you should see the centre/oil cap. The clip should be around the square plastic bit on the outside:
