Well its bloody cold outside, and to top it off my heater broke today. Got in car and switched them on and had no joy between all three settings (1&2 never worked just 3). I just got a horrid burning smell. Any ideas? Ran a quick search on the forum to find that the resistor swith can burn out? i take it this is probably a good place to start? What checks can be made?
Cheers

Definitley the resisitor dude. Whip it out and exchange for a known working one.
Doesn't have to come from a V 300.

Hi mate.
I would go for the resistor aswell. You will find it behind the plastic housing
on the bulk head. Take the clips of, they just prize of. Don't loose the clips.
Cheers Mark.

Er don't throw the old resistor away. Needing some dead ones shortly for refurbishment.
