Break light fail

Post by shakes » 14 Jan 2013 05:37 pm

Break lights and stereo work but as soon as i turn the ignition on the fuse pop's.
Does anyone know what else runs of this fuse?
im thinking its gotta be a wire shorting out but not from the stereo or brake lights its gotta be an ignition live right?
any help would be great thanks

Hello, I would check all the earth connections to the starter motor, engine, battery, etc... sounds like the (large) current for the starter motor is earthing through the peripheral circuits and blowing the fuses??
