Hey guys, how do you fit an aftermarket Rpm gauge in a Volvo 340 1988?

I'm not being funny here, but the instructions will be in the box...
However, is there any reason not to change the huge clock in the dash panel for an equally big Volvo/VDO RPM gauge? The wiring is all there. If you still need a clock, fit a Volvo one in the centre dash opposite the cigarette lighter.

Problem is we dont have alot of Volvo 340's en Denmark so it Will be hard to find one

A late instrument cluster with a rev counter isn't hard to find on the internet ... Have a look at some of the Dutch websites or the V3C:

All 340s have a conventional rev counter signal wired from the Renix to the dash. Just splice into it somewhere, although as others have said you can just switch dashes for less than the cost of a rev counter.
