im working on putting my 340 cvt back on the road, ..... the wipers only come on 50% of the time, ... ive been told i need to replace the relay, ..... i have a replacement but cant for the life of me find where it goes??

Under the dashboard, mounted by the steering column with a metal spring clip.

It's not something you'd normally think of, but my housemate was working on the electrics under his dash a few years ago (in an e30) and managed to knock the wipers on with his knee, trapping his finger in the mech. So, even for such a "small" job, I'd be tempted to pull the battery (although... he does have a reputation for being a liability!)
