omex not working

Post by Mcglone7 » 28 Dec 2013 04:54 pm

Bought a clubman rev limit and looked at posts to how to wire up. Got power and stuff but it doesn't seem to limit.

Don't no what it could be :/ suggestions?

You have definately got it wired the right way yeah? (black to earth, red coil+, blue coil-) And is it set up correctly? i.e. 4cylinder and the correct RPM?

Have you got it on soft/hard cut? I found my glt tends to rev past the soft cut but hard works fine.

Well it didn't say which was which on the contact coils. So i put left positive and right negative. Yeah i set it to 2000-3000 with the hard cut on and nothing.

i take it it's a renix coil then, When you unbolt the coil have a look at the contacts, there should be a tiny + and - Stamped into the resin round the contacts, can't remember which is which off the top of my head
