Now that I've converted my car to injection I'm thinking the extra load from the pump might make things a bit marginal. Volvo clearly thought so with the 55A fitted to the injection models.
Is my carb 360 likley to have had the 45A alternator as suggested in the 87 manual? Unfortunately it was refurbed at around 190K and has lost all identity? Is there any other way to tell?
