I would remove the fuse box and clean the connectors underneath - they cause all sorts of unexplainable things to happen. Also is your alternator ok??

Hello, I would check all the earth connections and any relays that might have been swapped, etc? Have you got a circuit diagram? I didn't know about two fuse boxes, so that's new to me.

i have check the fusebox in the engine bay i didn't know there was a second ? (or you mean the 2 little plastic boxes near the headlights ?)

I have a circuit diagram but it's pretty hard to read for noobs like me

How can i test my earth connection? Adding a wire between the "-" and the engine ??

Thanks :)

Yeah isn't there one in the engine bay and another hid somewhere, can't remember exactly where as I have never needed to know.

Logan will know what I'm on about.

Afaik only the injection models have the auxillary fuse box behind the battery for the fuel pump and fog lights. The main lights use the main fuse box.

There is a bunch of relays on the steering column, not sure if the lights are controlled there, but is another place to check.

I've check the wire seems to be ok... i really don't know what's the problem i have to check the earth connection.

I also have seen that i don't have to fire the engine when i set the selector on 2 i turn the key and i turn it back my headlight goes on...

I was wondering if someone has replaced any of the relays under the dashboard recently, perhaps with the wrong sort i.e. normally-on as opposed to normally-off or vice versa, sorry, I can't remember what the correct sort is, but, I am just thinking this because when I tried to get a new relay from the shops a couple of years ago, I could only get the wrong sort, although they were identical externally, bar the symbol. Its the little black plastic cubic ones, not much bigger than a sugar lump, and they're clipped onto the steering column!!

I would certainly clean all the earth connections - sorry, that was what I meant by checking them.
