Hello to you all
I desperately want to get the sunroof panel off from my 340LE so I can fix a tiny bit of rust

on the leading edge of it!
I have a Haynes Manual for it but I would appreciate ant tips or info. on how to remove the panel so I can repair it!
If you google newoldcar.com and Volvo 340le there are pictures of my car on it!

I had few little jobs to do on it like change the brake master cylinder put new boot lid struts on it but the main thing is I managed to get some early GLT alloys off Ebay but when they arrived the were corroded so I had them refurbished by a little company called Platinum alloy wheel solutions so they look really good.

Given the age of the car, is it a glass panel roof that pops up rather than a metal panel that can tilt and slide?
(and I did read the rust on the leading edge... just never seen a Golde roof fitted to an H reg car!)

Ok, it's been a while since I've done the job, but it's not difficult.
If at any point you find yourself putting *any* force into the job, you've missed something and about to break something un obtainable. The bits of white plastic you will see with short bits of steel molded in are also molded onto the control cables, treat these as though they are the most precious things you have ever seen.
