Re: CR-201
I'm guessing the back will be the same as a CR-101? That's the eighties high-tec "MTS" cassette stereo right?
I've got one in the shelf at home, can take a pic later. In the meantime ... I'm pretty sure it will look like this:
Cheers

Re: CR-201
Hi Tom
Sorry, I forgot I put this thread up.
Is there a plug on the back like the one in this thread on retro rides as I would like to get one of these auxiliary inputs.

Re: CR-201
There are two DIN sockets at the back of the radio, for a graphic equaliser, and an external amp:
I'd have to have a closer look at the pattern though, it's not visible from that picture.
Cheers

OK, there you go!
Seems to have a different pattern to the one on retro rides ...

Re: CR-201
(From memory, it's some time since I've had them apart)
CR-201 differs to the CR-101 only is respect of the not having an AVI button, but having a loudness one instead.
There needs to be some sort of jumper plug in one of those DIN plugs on the rear, otherwise the internal pre-amp is not connected to the output amp of the set and subsequent no sound output. I've got a couple of those of those separate amps in the shed somewhere.
Without the jumper plug, it's a handy break in the circuitry to shove in some external signal.

Re: CR-201
This might be useful (short plug goes into EQ socket) if no amp is used.
