Hello all, can some one please explain the difference between my 340GL and a 340GLE if there is such a thing.
I have also added a post in the "demand" section as i am looking for some badges.

It's quite confusing and it depended vastly on model year. GLE's originally had plusher seats, electric windows and maybe mirrors.... the last run out GL models seemed to inherit this spec also, so I'd say the '90/'91 GL's were essentially GLE's

I see, I have a '88 but have installed electric mirror and windows, just wondering if i can get a GLE badge now

You've brought it up to GLE spec and beyond. To add to the confusion, I think 340 GLE's were only ever 1.7's and the later GL's tended to be 1.4's!
