Is the heater control panel meant to be backlit

Post by Ajcross222 » 01 Oct 2017 09:58 am

Hi,

I've had a volvo 360 Gle saloon for a while now, and I've been wondering about the heater console. I know on later volvos the unit has a backlight. The heater on my 360 isn't lit I wondered if there is a bulb gone behind it or if it just isn't meant to be backlit?

Thanks,
Adrian

It should be lit by a bulb behind. If you pop out the carpet panels each side of the centre console, you will find it.

Sorry didn't realise anyone had replied, thanks for that. I have no idea where to start on taking the panels off, what's the best way to get the panels off?

They are attached via Velcro so just pull.
The bulbs are in cradles a good light would be helpful
