Fuel return

Post by pigdog85 » 01 Oct 2023 10:52 am

Hey guys looking at buying another 360 .
There's only 3 in the country atm they are all rough but the best is a sedan.

The guy said he did a new fuel pump and lines etc then the fuel return line has popped off inside the cavity.
I never dealt with that before how bad is the job ?

From what I've read it runs thru a cavity in the body chassis ?

On a scale from 1- to run away ....how fast should I run 🤣

Maybe the pump is pumping too much fuel and overloading the return line?

I've not done it but it should just be a case of extracting the solid plastic line out of the chassis rail, reconnecting and feeding through. Not too bad a job but fiddly. If its a carbed car I would replace all of the fabric sections with new, good quality (check the spec) fuel injection hose.
