The driving computer gives an almost perfect speed read-out, which (since it's set from the trip meter) goes to show that the over-reading is needle-error, rather than the mechanism as a whole being bad.

cheers

I've borrowed my dads road angle and that indicates that the 440 spedo is reading just over 10% slow and the original is runs about 10% fast.

I think I will get the 400 one recalibrated to the correct speed now I know exactly what it should read.
If I had stock wheels and tyres it would probalby read spot on.

Testing showed a diference of about 3 KM/H negative which is ok(tested with a gps) .Probably due to to the bigger wheel diameter.
Impossible..................is a challenge

It is a good upgrade and saves running off the end of the speedo a lot of the time

JUST !
Be careful about using "the fork trick".

I've changed the dash light in my brothers honda (adding 26 LED's inklusive the normal ones on the back), and used the fork trick.
- but it damaged the rev needle motor, so now it's fucked...
- easy fix tho.. but annoying money...
Why "Joe Danger" ?.. well I allways imagine a japanese drift speeker screaming it "DjooooooeDjeeeenDjaaaarh !!!"
... and then i smile
