hey just bought a gear shift knob but i dont know how to put it on> How do you take out the original one????

pull hard and they come off ive done it from first to second gear

When it comes loose, it's possible to wake up with the shit knob in your hand when shifting from 1st to 2nd :) Nothing scientifical about it...
Made it a dozen times myself too...

Damn Piece of crap the knob didnt fit. It said that it fits shaft sizes up to 12mm. What shaft size is the 360?????????????????????????????????????

Half an inch from memory... which is 12 and a bit mill. I just got a big file out when I did mine, and it went on after a lot of work, but that was about 5 years ago, so I'm guessing a bit!

I thought 1/2 inch was nearer 13mm,
but I agree its still only 1mm you have to file it down by

but does the knob hang on to the "shifter" ? So you don't pull it off from 1.st to 2.nd again.. :P

most aftermarket gear knobs are fitted with a grub screw (usually with an allen key head ) which secures them
