How much power can i use from my 360's generator?

Hi everybody!
I just found this site and since i recently bought a 360 GL -88 there just cant be a better forum

I had some questions however. I was thinking about adding some extra lights and some other equipment but im not sure how much power i can take from the generator/alternator without discharging the battery and stealing power from other electronic equipment. In my manual it says the generator delievers 64A (770W) and i made some calculations that having all other lights turned on the car it would take about 350W and then there's the fan and other stuff that takes alot of current.
So my question is, how much ampÃ©res or watts can i use without disturbing on other devices and not discharning the battery more than it's being recovered from the generator?

if the power is going out of the battery then the battery light comes on on your dash. so i'd say you are fine unless that is coming on

Hi Nisse,

I have on my Volvo 340: foglights,elec windows, mirrors,antenna, radio
three amplifiers, a horn with a compressor, alarm with central doorlocking
headlight wipers and it all go's well. If you have a good battery and the
generator is in good condition there isn't any problem
