Dear all,
This must probably my fist post on this side of the forum. I am a French member of the V3M club and I just bought a 360 with sunroof. Unfortunatly, I experience the usual problems: the roof does not close properly, the cover panel has got scratches and I the famous small plastic part on whih the guide is broken (as on the picture in the link below).

I guess ou all experienced the same problems. What solutions did you find?
Also I found a sunroofrepairer in Bristol:

Do you know about this garage?
Cheers

Re: Original Golde sun roof
Hi mate.Hows it going with the sunroof? Im havent tried either of those companies as im a student & broke so Im going for the DIY approach.
If you type in the search 'how to fix sunroof' there should be a post about this if you fancy the DIY approach. I swear I saw a sunroof diagram for the 300 somewhere but it might have been in the haynes manual. Good luck either way mate.

Re: Original Golde sun roof
Hy there,
Sunroof not fixed yet. The fault comes from the two plastic bits on which the roof is fixed. Of course there are no longuer available anywhere. I am looking at the possibility to have them redone in a special resin used by dentist. Let's see how it goes.
Cheers

Hi there, you can try the resin from a fiber glass reapir-kit, it`s very strong. I have the same problem, but i got a 760 sun roof and i`m trying to swap some of the parts.

RS also do a pretty awesome resin if you could make up the mould, I've just found the stuff.
Part numbers... 199-1474. It's a PU though, and is very very slightly flexible, but not much in the size we'd need. They may also have something even more solid.
