Go to www.turbobricks.com
Depending on what car your using, what engine u like most, and what you want with it. I dont think its all that difficult...

Re: 240 question
If you want to know how its done go to rwdvolvos.org
my old man will explain how its done and what is involved.
It is fairly simple but if going to a rhd car you need to have a turbo manifold made to keep the trubo away from the brake mc.

Re: 240 question
As far as I've seen that isn't necessarily required, OK the turbo sits fairly close to the Brake MC but Suterman has proved to no detriment, and I've seen how he drives carsclassicswede wrote:It is fairly simple but if going to a rhd car you need to have a turbo manifold made to keep the trubo away from the brake mc.

Plus Ali's 360 turbo was a similar scenario and that had no ill effect on the brake or clutch master cylinders/heating up fluid etc.

Re: 240 question
On all the RHD turbo 240's I've seen have suffered from brake fade due to the heat. Suterman's car has problems with both brake and clutch fade! Problems you would never get with a left hook.
The other issue is the steering colum getting knocked when you put your foot down. After some advice form me suterman put on a stabiliser to the head but I don't know if that totaly cured the problem for him. Again on his car I'm not sure if he had the right engine mounts for the job. Std mounts are far to soft and allow a lot of engine movment.
If you are going to use the std turbo manifold and intend to put in measures to REDUCE the above problems be aware taht volvo could not solve it and that is why they stopped selling the RHD R sport turbo kit.
If you are running a std turbo manifold in a 240 (either RHD or LHD) you will need to use the 240 exhaust down pipe as the 700 series one does it fit. You could bodge it but then you'll robbing the engine of power. The exhaust system wants to be about 2 1/2" to give good flow without to much noise.
