spigot bearing

Post by volvoboy » 06 Jul 2010 06:45 pm

Hi, i know there are other topics about this, but i cant seem to find the correct size or part number for mine.
I am ashuming that the shaft that goes through the clutch plate has to sit inside of the spigot bearing. a bearing i bought using the measurements from a different post fit inside the crank end but the shaft that goes through the clutch sits against the bearing, this wont work will it? as it wont hold it in place properly?
Has anyone got the correct size for the bearing so that i could find a bearing site to get one from.
ive got a 1.7 340 1988 with a 1.7 turbo engine from a 1989 440 fitted.

many thanks
scott
